What happened to Jesus Christ? Jesus Christ is dead. No second coming of Jesus Christ.

Posted by QB on September 19, 2007

There is one of my visitor Al asked me whether I believe in the second coming of Jesus Christ and my reply to him was “No”. This “No” is based on my understanding of Qur’an and Bible which is actually goes at the majority of Christians Jews and Muslims. The real purpose of this is to post my understanding and have no intentions to hurt or condemn Christians Jews and Muslims beliefs. The Christians Jews and Muslims are not the only ones who are waiting for someone with superpowers to come and make their religion rule all over the world and this includes Hinduism, Zoroastrians, Buddhism. The logical explanation of these ancient stories is that mankind is always looking for someone with supernatural power to solve all their sufferings and make their religion the only religion on earth which is really very weird concept propagated by the religious scholars.

The Qur’an provides the evidence of Jesus Christ death and when analyze it against the Gospel it makes it more clear. This is very difficult for Christians and Muslim to accept and Jews who rejected Jesus Christ as Messiah are still waiting who has come and gone 2000 years back. The Jews according to Qur’an had killed many Prophets before Jesus Christ so he was not the only one who was put on the cross and none of those Prophets were raised alive to heaven.

2:61 And remember ye said: “O Moses! we cannot endure one kind of food (always); so beseech thy Lord for us to produce for us of what the earth groweth, -its pot-herbs, and cucumbers, Its garlic, lentils, and onions.” He said: “Will ye exchange the better for the worse? Go ye down to any town, and ye shall find what ye want!” They were covered with humiliation and misery; they drew on themselves the wrath of Allah. This because they went on rejecting the Signs of Allah and slaying His Messengers without just cause. This because they rebelled and went on transgressing.

2:87 We gave Moses the Book and followed him up with a succession of apostles; We gave Jesus the son of Mary Clear (Signs) and strengthened him with the holy spirit. Is it that whenever there comes to you an apostle with what ye yourselves desire not, ye are puffed up with pride?- Some ye called impostors, and others ye slay! –

3:181 Allah hath heard the taunt of those who say: “Truly, Allah is indigent and we are rich!”- We shall certainly record their word and (their act) of slaying the prophets in defiance of right, and We shall say: “Taste ye the penalty of the Scorching Fire!

These are few verses which provide the evidence that there were many Prophets who were murdered before Jesus Christ without getting raised alive to heaven.

3:55 Lo! God said: “O Jesus! Verily, I shall cause thee to die, and shall exalt thee unto Me, and cleanse thee of [the presence of] those who are bent on denying the truth; and I shall place those who follow thee [far] above those who are bent on denying the truth, unto the Day of Resurrection. In the end, unto Me you all must return, and I shall judge between you with regard to all on which you were wont to differ.

3:144 Muhammad is no more than an apostle: many Were the apostle that passed away before him. If he died or were slain, will ye then Turn back on your heels? If any did turn back on his heels, not the least harm will he do to Allah. but Allah (on the other hand) will swiftly reward those who (serve Him) with gratitude.

This verse is very clear that Jesus Christ was not alive at the time of Prophet Muhammad and no previous Prophet was alive during Jesus Christ time.

5:75 Christ the son of Mary was no more than an apostle; many were the apostles that passed away before him. His mother was a woman of truth. They had both to eat their (daily) food. See how Allah doth make His signs clear to them; yet see in what ways they are deluded away from the truth!

There are people who had brought about very illogical reason to keep Jesus Christ alive that “many” does not mean “all” Prophets were dead during the time of Prophet Muhammad. They never answered my question how many Prophets were alive during the time of Jesus Christ quoting them 5:75.

19:30 He said: “I am indeed a servant of Allah. He hath given me revelation and made me a prophet;
19:31 “And He hath made me blessed wheresoever I be, and hath enjoined on me Prayer and Charity as long as I live;

The common Sunni Shiite belief that Jesus is alive sitting with God in heaven did not able to answer how he is obeying God command to paying Charity sitting in heaven.

The details of Jesus Christ Crucifixion is quoted from Luke (King James Version) without any editing for people to have better understanding of what happened to Jesus Christ. Pilate was the appointed Roman Governor of Jesusalam at that time and Jesus were presented to him for punishment for claiming to be the real ruler of the people. Pilate send Jesus to Herod for punishment knowing that he is from Galilee which was Jew King juridision. Pilate was sympathic to Jesus Christ as he did not believed that he did comitted any crime.

Book 23.

1And the whole multitude of them arose, and led him unto Pilate.

2And they began to accuse him, saying, We found this fellow perverting the nation, and forbidding to give tribute to Caesar, saying that he himself is Christ a King.

3And Pilate asked him, saying, Art thou the King of the Jews? And he answered him and said, Thou sayest it.

4Then said Pilate to the chief priests and to the people, I find no fault in this man.

5And they were the more fierce, saying, He stirreth up the people, teaching throughout all Jewry, beginning from Galilee to this place.

6When Pilate heard of Galilee, he asked whether the man were a Galilaean.

7And as soon as he knew that he belonged unto Herod’s jurisdiction, he sent him to Herod, who himself also was at Jerusalem at that time.

8And when Herod saw Jesus, he was exceeding glad: for he was desirous to see him of a long season, because he had heard many things of him; and he hoped to have seen some miracle done by him.

9Then he questioned with him in many words; but he answered him nothing.

10And the chief priests and scribes stood and vehemently accused him.

11And Herod with his men of war set him at nought, and mocked him, and arrayed him in a gorgeous robe, and sent him again to Pilate.

12And the same day Pilate and Herod were made friends together: for before they were at enmity between themselves.

13And Pilate, when he had called together the chief priests and the rulers and the people,

14Said unto them, Ye have brought this man unto me, as one that perverteth the people: and, behold, I, having examined him before you, have found no fault in this man touching those things whereof ye accuse him:

15No, nor yet Herod: for I sent you to him; and, lo, nothing worthy of death is done unto him.

16I will therefore chastise him, and release him.

17(For of necessity he must release one unto them at the feast.)

18And they cried out all at once, saying, Away with this man, and release unto us Barabbas:

19(Who for a certain sedition made in the city, and for murder, was cast into prison.)

20Pilate therefore, willing to release Jesus, spake again to them.

21But they cried, saying, Crucify him, crucify him.

22And he said unto them the third time, Why, what evil hath he done? I have found no cause of death in him: I will therefore chastise him, and let him go.

23And they were instant with loud voices, requiring that he might be crucified. And the voices of them and of the chief priests prevailed.

24And Pilate gave sentence that it should be as they required.

25And he released unto them him that for sedition and murder was cast into prison, whom they had desired; but he delivered Jesus to their will.

26And as they led him away, they laid hold upon one Simon, a Cyrenian, coming out of the country, and on him they laid the cross, that he might bear it after Jesus.

27And there followed him a great company of people, and of women, which also bewailed and lamented him.

28But Jesus turning unto them said, Daughters of Jerusalem, weep not for me, but weep for yourselves, and for your children.

29For, behold, the days are coming, in the which they shall say, Blessed are the barren, and the wombs that never bare, and the paps which never gave suck.

30Then shall they begin to say to the mountains, Fall on us; and to the hills, Cover us.

31For if they do these things in a green tree, what shall be done in the dry?

32And there were also two other, malefactors, led with him to be put to death.

33And when they were come to the place, which is called Calvary, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand, and the other on the left.

34Then said Jesus, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And they parted his raiment, and cast lots.

35And the people stood beholding. And the rulers also with them derided him, saying, He saved others; let him save himself, if he be Christ, the chosen of God.

36And the soldiers also mocked him, coming to him, and offering him vinegar,

37And saying, If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.

38And a superscription also was written over him in letters of Greek, and Latin, and Hebrew, THIS IS THE KING OF THE JEWS.

39And one of the malefactors which were hanged railed on him, saying, If thou be Christ, save thyself and us.

40But the other answering rebuked him, saying, Dost not thou fear God, seeing thou art in the same condemnation?

41And we indeed justly; for we receive the due reward of our deeds: but this man hath done nothing amiss.

42And he said unto Jesus, Lord, remember me when thou comest into thy kingdom.

43And Jesus said unto him, Verily I say unto thee, Today shalt thou be with me in paradise.

44And it was about the sixth hour, and there was a darkness over all the earth until the ninth hour.

45And the sun was darkened, and the veil of the temple was rent in the midst.

46And when Jesus had cried with a loud voice, he said, Father, into thy hands I commend my spirit: and having said thus, he gave up the ghost.

47Now when the centurion saw what was done, he glorified God, saying, Certainly this was a righteous man.

48And all the people that came together to that sight, beholding the things which were done, smote their breasts, and returned.

49And all his acquaintance, and the women that followed him from Galilee, stood afar off, beholding these things.

50And, behold, there was a man named Joseph, a counsellor; and he was a good man, and a just:

51(The same had not consented to the counsel and deed of them;) he was of Arimathaea, a city of the Jews: who also himself waited for the kingdom of God.

52This man went unto Pilate, and begged the body of Jesus.

53And he took it down, and wrapped it in linen, and laid it in a sepulchre that was hewn in stone, wherein never man before was laid.

54And that day was the preparation, and the sabbath drew on.

55And the women also, which came with him from Galilee, followed after, and beheld the sepulchre, and how his body was laid.

56And they returned, and prepared spices and ointments; and rested the sabbath day according to the commandment.

Pilate was in very difficult position who did not wanted to offend the Jews which could result in uprising against the Roman occupation and really did not wanted to kill a innocent person. Pilate did put Jesus Christ on cross to please Jews and when people run away to take shelter from storm Jesus Christ was handed over to Joseph who was injured but not dead. Jews were happy that they crucify the person claiming to be their Messiah and this understanding according to the following verse.

This is rough kind of draft published which might get changed after I review it whenever time permit. The following is interesting link to recent news story where dead man wake up on actopasy table. This could have very well happened to Jesus Christ where people thought he is dead but actually he was alive.

“Dead” man wakes up under autopsy knife.

At the site I ahve read about the book, and to my knowledge the author believes it was not J.C. on the cross, and that it was someone else. To my understanding the author has a new theory of who thinks was on the cross. This sounds very interesting, and I am so curious of who he thinks was on the cross. At the authorhouse website you also read that the author is using the quran and the bibe to support this theory. I will definetly find out more about this book

They (muslims) believe that Jesus was rescued and taken up to heaven and that it was Judas, who was given the ‘look of Jesus and then crucified in his place.

You must be having some reason to believe the islamic view of Jesus not crucified but the likeness of him was put over another person. It would be nice if you would like to share the reason for you not believing this fact

Deliver A Messiah “Mistaken Identity” By Agron Belica. The author made it quite clear that it was not Judas or anyone mentioned by others. He states that he came up with his own independant theory. So, why don’t we just wait and see what he came up with. Rami

and again.. another blog with this persons marketing scam on every blog having to do with religion and jesus christ and muslims… I wonder how much blog marketing spam costs these days. I think I will write a book on how jesus christ was fathered by Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) when he went through a worm hole in time and space! I bet I can make some money off it! Do not play into these people. They are not trying to spread knowledge, they are trying to use your interest to get your money. If you have money to waste, then use your money for better things like zakat.

People who are waiting for someone to come and solve all their problems may buy this book. Religion is the multi billion dollar industry because of these people, who wanted to buy “Paradise” “Heaven” by blindly following the phony Imams Mahdi and Jesus. Look at Aga Khan become billionaire, the other one who claim to be Jesus was Mirza Ghulam Ahmed Qadiani who are rolling in money. Religion is big business and people will keep exploiting it by making people fool with intelligent marketing and manipulating truth.

THE AUTHOR OF THIS BOOK DELIVER A MESSIAH MISTAKEN IDENTITY MADE IT QUITE CLEAR THAT HE WASN’T OUT BASHING ANYONES RELIGION.. I HAVE READ THE BOOK , AND QUITE FRANKLY HE MAKES GOOD POINTS ON CERTAIN ASPECTS OF THE MESSIANIC STORY AS TOLD IN THE GOSPELS.. I WAS AMAZINGLY SURPRISED AS TO HOW HE USED HIS PROOFS NAMELY THE FOUR GOSPELS AND THE MOSLEM KORAN TO SUPPORT THIS THEORY OF JOHN BEING ON THE CROSS AND NOT THE CHRIST. IN ALL THE LITERATURE I HAVE READ PERTAINING TO THIS CRUCIFIXION THEORY BY ISLAMISTS, I HAVE NEVER ENCOUNTERED ONE LIKE IT. WHO WOULD HAVE EVER THOUGHT THAT JOHN THE BAPTIST BEAR SO MANY SIMILARATIES OF JESUS. YOU KNOW I TOO AM LOOKING INTO THE KORAN MORE NOW. IT IS INTERESTING THAT THIS AUTHOR DOES NOT REGARD THESE TWO PROPHETS AS FAILURES (ONE KILLED ON THE CROSS) AND THE OTHERS (HEAD BEING CHOPPED OFF). THIS AUTHOR ATTRIBUTES SUCCESS TO THEM.. TO TELL YOU THE TRUTH, I’D RATHER REMEMBER THEM OF SUCCESS THEN FAILURE. SO MR SIMEON OR WHOEVER YOU ARE, I THINK YOU SHOULD RE-EXAMINE YOUR GOSPELS (RECORDS) AND FIND OUT THE TRUTH BEFORE CASTING SUCH VILE ASSAULTS ON A MAN WHO IS IN SEARCH FOR TRUTH. MAY THE HIGH LORD HAVE MERCY ON YOUR SOUL.

I for one do not believe in Jesus’ (pbuh) second coming.
Whether he is alive or dead, this is a different matter but not significant to the argument of his ‘second coming’

however, I also believe that Hadiths did not corrupt Islam, for Islam is a religion that cannot be corrupted by man, and remains perfect ever since the last verses were revealed which God stated that ‘This day I have perfected your religion’ in sura Ma’idah verse 3.

I also believe that the hadiths are not always correct, that there are some untruths attributed to the Prophet (pbuh), especially the so called ‘second coming’

but there are some useful information in the hadiths and sunna which help us with our behaviour, etiquette, faith and we must not view all of it as bad or corrupt. We should treat it as a book like any other, some books give us guidance and wisdom, some lead us astray and some a bit of both.

  27. QB said

    Salaam Al,

What were you expecting? You wanted me to start screaming at you for not agreeing with me. This is for me is acceptable if you believe in hadiths. There are some hadiths which correspond to the message of Qur’an.

    DELIVER A MESSIAH MISTAKEN IDENTITY

    Subtitle: LIBERATION DAY

    By: Author Agron Belica

As an avid reader of the Holy Bible, how many countless times have you
drawn your own interpretations, and conclusions? How many versions
of the Bible have you read, comparing ancient manuscripts to modern
day Scripture? As an open minded reader in faith, and Christianity, has
your bias lead you directly to extensive research on the words, and
works of Christ? Is is possible that Jesus did not die on the cross?
Is the accepted view of the life of Christ incomplete? Are we thirsty
for the mysterious, thus craving for more information on what we
doubt, or believe is missing? Are we comfortable, and completely
satisfied in what we’ve learned in a lifetime about the son of Mary,
and the crucifixion? These are only a few questions that the curious
reader is left to ponder, after reading the cleverly written book,
“DELIVER A MESSIAH MISTAKEN IDENTITY.” As an educated scholar
on Christian history, Agron Belica fills the pages with contradictions
and controversy on the life of Mary,Jesus, and the crucifixion. The
author presents persuasive arguments on theory which surrounds
the events, and circumstances which took place during that era,
obtained from years of elaborate examination. The reader is left with
yet another crucial question, has prevailing powers camouflaged
the truth? The author’s comparisons are undeniable plausible, while
he sites religious documents to support his arguments, leaving the
reader amazingly surprised. I would recommend this book to all reader’s
who wish to explore facts, and seek additional knowledge obtained
through research about faith, and Christianity. In comparison to the
book “Holy Blood, Holy Grail” Agron Belica enlightens his open minded
readers to other possibilities as they absorb each bit of information
with a grain of salt. The author does not shoot the facts into the reader’s
face. Instead, he gently challenges the senses while using theory as the
key to open the door to other possibilities as we draw our own opinions,
and conclusions. “DELIVER A MESSIAH MISTAKEN IDENTITY” is
precise, and interesting. Regardless of which road the reader takes
on the teachings of the life of Christ, Agron Belica provides us with the
ultimate message that remains the same, eternal Blessings in the light
of Christ. Combined with that message and the author’s presentation
of research, if just one reader is left with any doubts, then the author’s
mission has been accomplished. This novel is an impressive, passionate
read, and is as Powerfully Moving as “THE PASSION OF THE CHRIST”
    with Mel Gibson!

    Hello everyone.
This is my first comment on this subject. I would like to reference the topic question of this blog, “What happened to Jesus Christ?” First off, I would like to draw to every reader’s attention that the author of this blog uses the Qur’an for the majority of his “historical quotations” with one exception and that is when he references the day of the crucificxtion he uses some verses out of the Biblical book of Luke. I think it is foolish of the author to use the Qur’an as his main source of validity when it is well known that the Qur’an was written hundreds of years after Jesus Christ’s crucificxtion, while the Bible contains 4 separate accounts of Christ’s crucificxtion, 3 of which are eye-witness accounts. It is clearly stated in all 4 Biblical books (Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John) that Jesus Christ was beaten and crucified. I have no idea how some of the other commentators on this blog think it is possible for someone to SURVIVE a crucificxtion! It is simply NOT POSSIBLE! The Romans knew how to kill people. Jesus could not have survived his crucificxtion. However, all 4 Biblical books also say that Jesus was put in a tomb and also “rose from the dead”, meaning he came back to life. Jesus fulfilled many Old Testament prophicies during his life showing that he was not just another prophet, but THE MESSIAH (GOD in the FLESH). It is also stated in these books that Jesus ascended into heaven to be with God. Over 500 people saw him alive after his crucificxtion. Jesus DID conquer death. He WAS God in the flesh. If you have any questions about the validity of my statements, then I ask you to read Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
    SamB
May all Glory be unto the name of JESUS CHRIST!

    Hi Sam,

Jesus was injured not dead when brought down from the cross. Jesus flew away after three days when his wounds were little bit healed.

More on then whenever get time. Christians believe Jesus is alive so do the majority of Muslims. Christians believe that Jesus will come back one day so do the majority of Muslims. This is not attack on Christianity. This is my understanding of what had happened 2000 years back.

    Deliver a Messiah Book Review

There are two methods of gaining knowledge in the great religious traditions of the world in general, and Islam, in particular. One method is knowledge that is imitated (taqlid) or transmitted by hearsay from generation to generation like the sciences of language, history and law. With this method, a person never asks “Why?” but accepts what is taught by an authority. In the Islamic tradition this leads to ijtihad, ijtihad specifically referring to developing expertise in jurisprudence (fiqh) to the level of being able to use independent judgment in understanding Islamic law (Shariah). Such a person is known as a mujtahid. Whoever is not a mujtahid, whoever has not reached that level, must “imitate” or “follow” a person who has, whether that person is dead (Sunni Muslims) or alive (Shia Muslims).

The second method of gaining knowledge is what is of most interest to us in this book review, that of tahqiq or intellectual knowledge where one may have a teacher for guidance but it is knowledge that cannot be passed from one generation to another. Each person has to discover it for himself or herself by “polishing the heart,” by becoming a person who sees with the eye of Oneness or tawhid, a person who deeply senses his responsibility to God, His creation and His humanity. The person who gains knowledge with this method is called “a seeker of truth” (muhaqqiq).

Intellectual knowledge (tahqiq) builds on transmitted knowledge but goes deeper. Transmitted knowledge includes memorizers of the Quran and the Hadith but only with intellectual knowledge can one understand what God and the Prophet are saying. Those who lack this intellectual endeavor have, one might say, not sought the means to see with the eye of “Oneness.”

Questions like “why” are not the only ones that the intellect of the seeker of truth asks because the underlying distinction is to think, “to think for oneself,” and not to stop at “imitation alone.”

Not everyone has been burdened with this capacity as the Quran says in 2:286, but one person who has is Agron Belica, the author of Deliver a Messiah. He is a seeker of truth, seeker of the Reality (haqq), a person who has verified knowledge, not on the basis of imitating the opinion of others, but on the basis of having realized the truth for himself as well as being one who acts in accord with haqq, all the time realizing his belief in the One God, the one creation and the one humanity.

A faith tradition may survive without a living mujtahid, but it rapidly disappears without a living muhaqqiq. Without a living seeker of truth, a seeker of reality, the faith tradition cannot remain faithful to its principles because it cannot understand those principles.

Agron Belica’s basic premise is to follow the Quran and the Hadith and the New Testament which all assert that Jesus is the Messiah. However according to the Quran and the Hadith, it only appeared to the people who bore witness to the Messiah that he had been crucified. In reality, according to the intellectual endeavor of the author, it was “he who lives” (Yahya), the Concealer of Secrets (hasura), as the Quran refers to him who was placed on the cross and lived, a view held by early Christian gnostics as well, but later declared to be a heresy. The Concealer of Secrets concealed the secret of his identity and that of the Messiah in order to save the Messiah. The Messiah was then allowed to carry on his prophetic mission (perhaps traveling even as far as Kashmir where many believe that he is buried).

At the same time that Mary retired to a sanctuary, Zechariah becoming her protector, Zechariah prayed for an heir. The the son of Mary, was close in age to the son of man (the Concealer of Secrets fathered by Zechariah). They may have even been cousins who resembled one another. They both began their prophetic mission around the same time yet neither revealed themselves as to who they actually were.

The author traces these and other parallels in the lives of the son of Mary and the son of man for a fascinating read. In the great tradition of seekers of truth in the past, Agron Belica brings harmony to ancient mysteries. He shows the possibility of how thing may be in the Presence of the Oneness of God and he does so through scriptures – the Quran, Hadith and the New Testament.

This is a book that should be read by everyone who wants to discern the Reality of the story of the Messiah.
