Buddhists are supposed to be peaceful.

Posted by QB on March 26, 2008

The Buddhists who are portrayed as the peace loving non violent people are engage in violence to gain political advantage and sabotage China summer Olympic games. The pictures coming out are showing the ugly violence these peaceful monks are doing. Damaging the buildings, beating up lonely Chinese who get in their violent demonstrations. The purpose of all these violent demonstrations are for the world to boycott the China Summer Olympic games. Sarkozy has indicated that France might boycott the opening ceremony of the games. Bush is right that Olympic games should not be used for politics as these games are for athletes who trained for years for this event.

Dalai Lama call for immediate stop of violence which is ignored by these Monks and their supporters. Chinese government is doing what is necessary to stop this violence.

Buddhists are not really peaceful people. They are just like any other religious people who believe that Dalai Lama has the right to be their ruler.

  1. Not all Tibetans are Buddhists and wheather the call of the Dalai Lama had any impact to limit violence could only be known if a situation without his call would be available for comparison. The problem with the boycott of the Games is that it might actually have a negative effect for the human rights situation in China.
