Pakistan National Assembly is voting to elect the next Prime Minister, Yusuf Reza Gilliani of PPP will be elected the next Prime Minister. This will bring the corrupt PPP into power once again giving the actual power to most corrupt person in Pakistan politics Asif Zardari. There are also speculations that Asif Zardari will run for by election for National Assembly and become the Prime Minister. This is interesting that Benazir Bhutto death has make him the most powerful person in Pakistan’s politics. Asif Zardari may be the person who has murder his wife for the political gain and power. Pakistan voters has voted for PPP without realizing the consequences that they are giving power to a ruthless murderer who has all the power to do whatever he wants.
Pervez Musharraf will still be the President as he has the backing of White House.

Pakistan has been through a lot of bad times in its short history. However, if Asif Zardari is going to be its future PM, we have yet to see our darkest hour. With all his faults, I wish Nawaz Sharif were in the driving seat but he is not.
Gilliani got vote of confidence from almost everyone in the National Assembly. Zardari will not be able to do it. He will only try to do it if he wants to destabilize the recently acquired, but seriously endangered, stability in politics.
@ d matthews.
It was a pro Musharraf vs anti Musharraf election. Unfortunately for the President, he could not protect his planned Prime Minister from being assasinated and he is going to pay for it in the future. We will most probably never find the truth behind the assasination in this life and it wont matter in the next. The puppet called UN will conduct an investigation and will say what Washinton and Islamabad want to hear.
