Pervez Musharraf will take oath as civilian President on Thursday after resigning from Chief of Army. The other corrupt civilian former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharrif is back in Pakistan, probably requested by Saudi King Abdullah during Pervez Musharraf visit to Saudi Arabia. This is interesting change, now the National Assembly seats will split three ways between Pervez Musharraf League (PML-Q), Benazir Bhutto party and Nawaz Sharrif (PML-N). The power sharing will remain with Pervez Musharraf, a coalition government with strong opposition of Nawaz Sharrif party and the Islamic Parties.
Bush wants Pervez Musharraf to end the state of emergency and fight his “war on terror” which is not possible.
