Pervez Musharraf amnesty for Benazir Bhutto corruption charges challenged.

Posted by QB on October 13, 2007

Pervez Musharraf amnesty for Benazir Bhutto is challenged in Supreme court. The court will hear five petitions after three weeks and have served notice to Attorney General of Pakistan. These petitions are filed by the religious opposition parties. Pervez Musharraf is trying to defend his decision with silly excuses that his decision is in the better interest of Pakistan to create political stability. Pervez Musharraf was talking to the host of Hard Talk BBC, he look very uncomfortable answering the question, his lack of confidence was showing in all his answers because he did not have conviction.

Pervez Musharraf decision to drop Benazir Bhutto corruption charges is wrong. She must face the trail for all these corruption charges. Benazir Bhutto, if she is clean, should must face the trials instead of insisting that she is innocent. This is real tragedy of democracy that the criminals get elected by ignorant people.
