What exactly Bush plan for Iraq?

Posted by QB on October 20, 2006

Bush regime invaded Iraq with false promises from Wolfowitz who now get promoted as the President of International Monetary Fund for all his failures and miscalculation of invasion and occupation of that country. Wolfowitz promised that US military will be greeted as liberators with flowers in Iraq. Wolfowitz other misconception was that Iraq war will be finance by Iraqi Oil export. Saddam Hussein has weapons of mass destruction. All these turn out not to be true. The Iraq invasion and occupation has cost US 334 billion dollars so far and keep in mind all the money is for logistics and a fraction of this money was misused in the name of reconstruction.

Bush invaded and occupied Iraq in fighting his so called “war on terror”. The fact is that there were no “terrorists” in Iraq before US invasion and occupation. There was no Al Qaeda operatives before the invasion and occupation, Bush invasion open the door for Al Qaeda. Bush also wanted to get rid of Saddam Hussein Weapons of Mass Destruction which all turned out to be a big lie. Bush regime immediately changed the reason of invading Iraq by replacing it to a stupid argument “World is better place without Saddam Hussein in power” which is absolutely incorrect as the world has become a more dangerous place.

Bush who insists to stay the course and build Iraq a model democracy for Middle East has already failed by removing a secular government and helping religious Shia sectarian getting into power. Bush has opened up door for Iraq to more become like Iran religious government. Bush regime who are living in some imaginary world denying all their failures still believe that they actually can win the war in Iraq. The puppet Shias government which come into power with the help of US occupation military only has control of 4 square mile green zone in Baghdad wants the occupation military to stay so they can stay enjoy being the rulers. The Iraqi Shia puppets mainly exiles knows that they can’t hold on to their power with the help of US occupation military.

Bush today foolishly admitted Iraq situation is similar to Tet offensive in Vietnam.

Given the U.S. military’s troubled history in Vietnam, generals and their foot soldiers in Iraq may have shuddered after they heard President Bush acknowledge a comparison with today’s Iraq and the Viet Cong’s 1968 Tet Offensive.

In an interview with ABC News’ George Stephanopoulos, the president said a New York Times column by Thomas Friedman might be correct in drawing that analogy.

“He could be right,” the president said. “There’s certainly a stepped-up level of violence, and we’re heading into an election.”

Tet, which began in early 1968 and is seen by many as a turning point in the Vietnam war, did serious damage to President Lyndon B. Johnson’s public support. Two months after the offensive began, he announced he would not seek a full, second term in the White House.

Tony Snow try to spin his foolish acknowledgement by completely changing his words and try to give a new meaning to his stupid comments.

“The president was making a point that he’s made before, which is that terrorists try to exploit pictures and try to use the media as conduits for influencing public opinion in the United States,” spokesman Tony Snow said.

Bush really don’t have any plan for Iraq and he is to arrogant and stubborn to admit that they miserably failed in Iraq and they also failed in Afghanistan. The solution is the complete pull out of occupation military from Iraq which they will do it in few years after spending few more billions of dollars.

  1. Well, quite possibly, the US will just pull out. Blair has already said that British troops may be out in 10-16 months. And after the mid-term elections, if the republicans get the message, it’s quite likely that the US will simply pull the plug.

I mean, the US military has admitted today that their plan for Baghdad failed..These are all signals.

so… we didn’t get any flowers? why don’t we just throw a big “victory” kegger in downtown bagdad, and get everyone drunk, then while everyone is passed out, we can just leave and act like nothing happened, and we won.

If the US does pull out quickly surely the killing will escalate – as if it is not terrible already! There is no war more vicious than civil war.
It might be better to re-instate Saddam!! Possibly the least evil option, which doesn’t say much about the present situation.

Dmitri Marine. The US pull out of Iraq is now only the matter of time as I said that Bush is too arrogant to admitt his mistake and it might take couple of years more and over hundred billion dollars.

Dave. Don’t you know that Congress has approved 20 million dollars for Iraq victory celebration for next year. They will do that making it look like huge victory for Bush and Republicans.

Wil Jaxon. The killings in Iraq sadily are very high since the invasion and occupation of US military. The US pull out will help Sunnis and Shias realize that fighting and killing each other is the in the best interest of their country. US pull out will help Iraq to get recover quickly with neighboring countries help.
