Iraq – Bush’s mess.

Posted by QB on October 16, 2006

The Researchers from Mustansiriyah University in Baghdad on Sunday backed the results of their survey on the number of civilian deaths in Iraq since the US-led occupation of the country began in 2003 which are 665,000.

Bush immediately rejected the number of deaths without even looking at the research. Yesterday I posted about the two committees which are looking into US strategy in Iraq. The reports are suggesting for phased withdrawal of all US troops from Iraq and today Bush assured puppet Iraqi Prime Minister Nouri Al Maliki that he has no plans to pull out of Iraq.

The other interesting news from Iraq is that Saddam Hussein has written open letter assuring that “Iraq’s liberation is at hand”.

Saddam Says Iraq ‘Liberation Is at Hand’

US soldiers killed in Iraq this month is 55 to date and it is very difficult to keep the count of Iraqi civilians getting killed daily.

Iraqi Resistance has increase their propaganda by issuing the following statement.

A militant network that includes Al Qaeda in Iraq announced in a video that it has established an Islamic state in six provinces, a propaganda push in its drive to force the withdrawal of U.S. forces and topple the Iraqi government.

The Mujahedeen Shura Council, an umbrella organization of insurgent groups in Iraq, said the new state is made up of six provinces including Baghdad that have large Sunni populations, along with parts of two other central provinces that are predominantly Shiite.

Bush stupidity is to blame for the situation in Iraq.
