Iraq – Bush’s war.

Posted by QB on September 16, 2006

Iraq’s mess is created by Bush administration lies has no immediate solution.

US President George W. Bush has said he was worried that Iraq might slip into civil war but forcefully rejected calls for an immediate US withdrawal, saying that would be a “disaster.”

Iraq is already in civil war. The sectarian violence which we are witnessing is the more political than religious. Sunni Resistance try to bring Shi’ites to rise up against the occupation but Shi’ites chose the other way to grab the power by cooperating with US occupation. Sunni Resistance has had little success when Muqtada Al Sadr extended their support to Sunni Resistance but he quickly was rejected by majority of Shi’ites because Grand Ayatollah Sistani disapproved the armed resistance.

The situation get worst when Shi’ite militias started their revange killings of Sunni civilians and now its open confrontation between Shi’ites and Sunnis. The Sunni Resistance started targeting Iraqi Police and Shi’ites civilians and Shi’ites militia has turned their guns to Sunni civilians.

The next phase, according to my analysis, will be very dangerous for occupation when they join forces to fight the occupation.

“We’re not leaving so long as I’m the president. That would be a huge mistake,” said the president, whose job approval ratings have sunk partly because of the unpopular war.

“Leaving before the job is done would be a disaster,” he added.

What is the definition of job done according to Bush?

This question is never answered honestly by any politician of both parties. Bush did not realize that US has already lost the Iraq war. Bush did not realize that the government under their occupation which consists of Iraqi exiles are more loyal to Iran and Hezbollah which is quite natural. The majority of Shi’ites are in favor of Iran type religious government which will be more oppressive than Saddam secular government.

The Iraqi Information Minister Muhammed Saeed al-Sahaf was very correct when he warned US that Iraq will be quagmire for their military.

“We have placed them in a quagmire from which they can never emerge except dead”

The following is the quote of former Iranian President Akbar Rafsanjani.

The United States will have bitten off more than it can chew if it wages war on Iraq, Iran’s powerful former president Akbar Hashemi Rafsanjani warned Wednesday.

“The United States will be trapped in a huge quagmire if it dares to attack Iraq,” Rafsanjani said in remarks carried by the state news agency IRNA.

Democratic Senator John Kerry, Bush’s 2004 rival for the White House, quickly fired back: “The American psyche isnt the problem. The problem is this administrations disastrous Iraq policy.”

“We must change course in Iraq. We need to set a date to force Iraqis to stand up for Iraq,” Kerry said in a statement that called for a US redeployment out of Iraq.

John Kerry too is wrong with this stupid statement that changing course will bring stability and peace in Iraq. Republicans and Democrats created this mess by voting in favor of Iraq invasion, both parties are responsible for this mess.

This invasion has brought deaths and destruction for Iraqis. Republicans tried to spin the invasion by slogans like “world is better without Saddam” is again not true because world is more dangerous with this invasion because Al Qaeda fighters when finished US in Iraq they will turn their attention to Afghanistan.

There is no immediate solution of Iraq Quagmire.
