Hugo Chavez – Supported by Civil Societies Groups.

Posted by QB on June 1, 2007

Hugo Chavez get the support of Civil Societies Groups who are blaming the recent demonstrations are planned and backed by CIA and US to destabilize their country’s democratically elected government. Hugo Chavez is elected in democratic elections and US Fox News and CNN refer to him as the dictator are trying again to bring his government down with 2002 like coup.

“The Venezuelan people forcefully reject the interference of the United States government in the internal affairs of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela. Once again the CIA has put a destabilization plan in place with the objective of overthrowing the Bolivarian government and of assassinating President Hugo Chavez,” said the opening paragraph of the document.

Later in the document the text makes reference to recent revelations of “documents that show the payment in dollars of journalists” from RCTV and Globovision “by the government of the United States, through the National Endowment for Democracy, connected with the US State Department and the Central Intelligence Agency through Freedom House.”

The document assures that the plan seeks to create violence and deaths in the street with the intention of discrediting and weakening the government of Hugo Chavez.

In contradiction to the claims made by the media regarding freedom of expression in the country, the social organizations claim that RCTV and Globovision have systematically “called for subversion, chaos, fascism, terrorism, and assassination.”

“These television channels have been spokespersons of foreign interests, specifically those of the Bush government, whose final objective is to overthrow and assassinate President Hugo Chavez,” they said.

CNN sued for linking Chavez to Al-Qaeda.

Posted by QB on May 29, 2007

CNN news can’t be trust. CNN the most frustrated news on cable.

Venezuela sues CNN for footage displaying pictures of Chavez juxtaposed with those of Al-Qaeda leader.
CARACAS – Venezuela filed lawsuits Monday against US cable network CNN for linking President Hugo Chavez to Al-Qaeda, and against a Venezuelan TV network for encouraging Chavez’s assassination.

Information Minister William Lara showed at a press conference what he said was CNN footage displaying pictures of Chavez juxtaposed with those of an Al-Qaeda leader.

CNN also aired a story about the Venezuelan protests, but used images taken in Mexico of an unrelated story, Lara said.

“CNN broadcast a lie which linked President Chavez to violence and murder,” Lara said.

The government also sued Venezuelan network Globovision for what they said was indirectly encouraging Chavez’s murder by airing footage of the 1981 assassination attempt on the late pope John Paul II.

“In my view, this television network, in this specific part of its programming, committed the offense of incitement to assassination, against the Venezuelan head of state,” Lara said.

CNN issued a statement late Monday saying they “strongly deny” being “engaged in a campaign to discredit or attack Venezuela.”

The news network acknowledged a video mix-up, and “aired a detailed correction and expressed regret for the involuntary error.”

Regarding the Al-Qaeda leader, the network said that “unrelated news stories can be juxtaposed in a given program segment just as a newspaper page or a news web site may have unconnected stories adjacent to each other.” Source : Middle East Online.

We should back Chávez.

Posted by QB on May 25, 2007

This article is written by Colin Burgon published by Guardian and he is the only European or US law maker who has the courage to speak truth. USA and Canada talk about the free speech and both countries have refused to give Al Jazeera permission to reach to its North American audience.

Neoconservative forces, via compliant media outlets and Christian right groupings within the European parliament, are preparing their latest attack on Hugo Chávez and the government of Venezuela. The latest focus of the campaign is the decision of Venezuela’s broadcasting authorities not to renew the licence of the private television channel RCTV. The anti-Chávez apparatus once again presents a test for Foreign Office ministers.

Washington’s outriders characterise the decision as an affront to freedom of speech, yet the facts speak in louder tones. Over 80% of Venezuelan television and radio outlets are privately owned; this excludes a number of cable and satellite television networks that are widely available. Of this 80%, significant sections are owned by corporate groups. According to a recent New York Times editorial, this has led to a situation in which “even the best news outlets tend to be openly ideological…so the owners’ views can permeate reporting”.

Almost all Venezuelan newspapers remain in private hands. The press is free to report, and express opinions, without government interference. Most do so with considerable brio on a daily basis. No media outlet has encountered licensing problems for the expression of political views. No journalist has been imprisoned or punished for report or comment.

In RCTV’s case, the broadcaster failed to meet basic public-interest standards. The criterion for this assessment is similar to that used by the US Federal Communications Commission. RCTV will be free to broadcast via cable and satellite, which are available across the country.

In the UK, if Channel 4 aided an attempted coup against the government that resulted in civil unrest and even death, would anyone be supporting the renewal of its licence? RCTV has lost its licence because its wealthy owners slanted news coverage to provide support to the April 2002 coup against Chávez and the elected government. This will not be news to those who gathered in parliament last week to view John Pilger’s excellent documentary The War on Democracy, which shows footage of RCTV involvement.

As the coup failed and Venezuelans questioned Chávez’s “resignation”, RCTV prohibited correspondents from airing these developments.

So what hope that our representatives in the EU might withstand rightwing pressure and argue against a discriminatory move against Venezuela at a meeting in Strasbourg next week? If the Foreign Office’s public strategy document Latin America to 2020 is anything to go by, not very much.

Lord Triesman, the document’s main author and a Foreign Office minister, outlines an adherence to free-market liberalism and singularly defined democracy as the prerequisites for UK engagement in Latin America. The document shows our government remains committed to the neoliberal model as a means of tackling the highest levels of social inequality in the world. However, anyone interested in nations such as Venezuela or Bolivia can see that the “Washington consensus” trade and aid packages have failed the most desperate people of those nations.

In the document, many Latin American leaders are named and congratulated, yet Chávez receives no such recognition. The Foreign Office appears to ignore the reasons for the popularity of Chávez, Evo Morales in Bolivia and Rafael Correa in Ecuador: the failure of neoliberal policies imposed by Washington and endorsed by the EU.

It is not too late for a Labour government to engage with those who wish to achieve justice for their peoples. Events in Strasbourg next week provide an opportunity for the UK government to show reason and goodwill.

This is the true face of US and European democracies. They have set rule for themselves which only protects their governments and expect rest of the world to blindly follow their wishes and anyone who is criticising US or its European allies government policies become dangerous enemy.

Hugo Chavez and Latin America & Middle East.

Posted by QB on May 25, 2007

Hugo Chavez who is the most hated person in USA and its European allies to me is courageous passionate peace loving person who wanted to improve the lives of common people not only in his country but for whole poor Latin Americans. Hugo Chavez is also considered the greatest threat for USA but the truth is the other-way around. USA is a real threat to Venezuela and Hugo Chavez, its people and their Oil as long as Bush mafia is in control. Bush did try to topple Hugo Chavez government down with the help of CIA and corrupt Venezuelans elite which failed.

This are few Hugo Chavez achievements. Poverty went down to 34% from 40%, free health care for Venezuelans, building cheap housing for poor, education. Hugo Chavez also helped the poor neighboring countries in building hospitals, providing he subsidized oil, subsidized fertilizers for the farmers. Hugo Chavez is savior in Cuba who has hired doctors and other professionals and it is his efforts which has improved the lives of Cubans with higher standard of living and more quantities and varieties of food in market.

Hugo Chavez is a real hero and a true leader. Hugo Chavez friendship with the last revolutionary alive Fidel Castro is also criticised by USA and its European allies. The majority of ignorant American believe that Fidel Castro is some kind of monster which of-course is not true and they blame him for poor economy and poverty which again is propaganda. The truth is Cubans are suffering from last 45 years because of brutal US embargo. Forbes magazine published report that Fidel Castro personal wealth is over 900 million dollars in foreign banks. Fidel Castro blasted Forbes magazine and US imperialists for three hours on TV and challenged them to prove this false accusation. Fidel Castro promised to resign from the government if they prove that he even have any foreign account with 1 dollar balance.

The other example of this kind of propaganda is Kim Jong Il who in the west is known as some kind of mentally unstable crazy person. The truth if you analyze the North Korea situation the country’s poor are suffering due to US sanctions. Kim Jong Il is more sane than George W. Bush who know the consequences of starting a military conflict with South Korea and his threats are simply to seek the attention of international community so he can get some favors.

Democracy is good and dictatorship is evil maybe the good slogan for US but in reality people really don’t care much about the government or the head of State as long as they have security and financial stability. The good US democracy don’t have free medical for all US citizens and there are 49 million poor who don’t have any medical insurance. The good US democracy is not providing cheap eduction (Venezuela has free eduction, but not sure).

I believe that it is not the responsibility of US and its European allies to invade country for regime change. The people of the country can and they have the capability and the power to topple down any evil dictator of their country. Why Fidel Castro is still in power? The answer to this question is that because he had the support of Cubans and that is why there is no real opposition build up against his government. Saddam Hussein came into power with the support of US government and CIA. Saddam Hussein enjoyed power because majority of the Iraqis feel that comfortable with him except Kurd terrorists and Shiites. Iraqis if they were so against Saddam Hussein they could have toppled him down with people power like now they are fighting against the superpower of the world for their freedom.

Hugo Chavez has started common socialists reforms which are spreading in Latin America like wild fire with Nicaragua, Bolivia, Argentina, Brazil, Cuba, Chile, Ecuador has leftist governments developing close relationship with neighboring country which will bring financial stability for the common people. Hugo Chavez is the fresh breeze which will shape Latin America very better way.

Hugo Chavez has to implement tough policies to fight the increasing crimes in Caracas and had to start projects which benefits poor people. Hugo Chavez if really don’t know that crime and housing are the main grievances of poor people than he is as much disconnected with reality as George W. Bush. Hugo Chavez cannot claim to be the leader of poor if he really don’t know their problems.

This is not new post was written very poorly long time ago. I just try to correct the spellings and try to improve the quality for people interest.

World Support for Cuba at WTO.

Posted by QB on May 23, 2007

Geneva, May 23 (Prensa Latina) Seven countries reiterated their support for Cuba s demands against the US at a meeting of the World Trade Organization s Dispute Settlement Body.

Brazil, China, Venezuela, Nicaragua, India, Bolivia, and Vietnam expressed their solidarity with the Cuban cause over Washington s lack of progress to accomplish resolutions and recommendations by the WTO mechanism.

The delegations from those countries highlighted the US keeps violating the juridical principle contained in the Dispute Settlement Understanding, dealing with prompt fulfilment of rulings.

Similarly, they expressed dissatisfaction with the US report for being too brief and repetitive.

On Tuesday, Cuba slammed the US for its open maneuvers to reinforce illegal, unilateral measures attempting against its free trade and development.

Jorge Ferrer, minister-counselor of the Cuban permanent mission at the UN, said at the WTO Dispute Settlement mechanism that Washington repeats the same speech each month.

US President George W. Bush has reiterated he will veto any congressional bill aimed at softening or removing the White House anti-Cuba measures, he sustained.

There is another report that US farmers will sign USD 150 million dollars with Cuba signing deal for Agriculture products. This is something that can happen with only US oppressive one sided policies which keep the American open to earn money from the country which has suffered so much with US embargo. Cuban government has spend USD 2.2 billion since 2001 buying American farm products.

Fidel Castro why are your government so much cash flow into US economy who wants Cubans to suffer and the whole country destroyed with embargo. Why not buy all the agriculture and farm products from some friendly country? China or any other Latin American country.

Pope Benedict XVI proved again that he is an idiot.

Posted by QB on May 20, 2007

President Hugo Chavez sought Benedict XVI’s apology for offending native peoples during the pope’s recent attempt to reach out to Latin American Roman Catholics.

“As a head of state, I beg your holiness to apologize to the peoples of our Americas,” said Chavez, speaking late Friday.

“I believe it is the right thing to do.”

Benedict XVI made quite an impression on his first visit to Latin America, home to about half of his flock, when he said last week that “Christianity was not imposed by a foreign culture.”

“Christ was the Savior (America’s natives) silently yearned for,” the pope said in Brazil.

Benedict also called a recent resurgence of pre-Columbian religions “a step backward,” drawing protests from native peoples as far away as Mexico.

Natives in Ecuador also questioned Benedict’s version of events.

“Surely, the pope does not know that representatives of the Catholic Church of those times, with honorable exceptions, were accomplices, deceivers and beneficiaries of one of the most horrific genocides of all humanity,” the Confederation of Indigenous Nations said in a statement Saturday.

The pope’s statements were still on Chavez’s mind Saturday: “How could you say that they came — when they came with arquebuses (firearms) to evangelize — with no sort of imposition?”

The conquest of Latin America by Europeans “was something far worse than the Holocaust in the Second World War and no one can deny it, not even your Holiness can deny the Holocaust of the natives of our land.”

“Christ arrived much later to America; he did not arrive with (Christopher) Columbus.

That was the arrival of the anti-Christ,” said Chavez, whose speeches frequently rely on Christian teachings and baseball metaphors.

Chavez and the Roman Catholic Church have had rough relations, which have improved in the past year, with new Caracas archbishop Jorge Urosa.
Chavez has met once with Benedict, in May 2006.

Whenever Pope opens his holy mouth he say something stupid. Pope Benedict handlers must keep his mouth taped which will save Catholic Church plenty of embarrassments.

Hugo Chavez Efforts Changing Latin America.

Posted by QB on May 12, 2007

Hugo Chavez peaceful efforts are making life much more pleasant for poor common people of Latin. Hugo Chavez who has provided financial help to countries like Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua where people life quality has improved.

La Paz, May 11 (Prensa Latina) President Evo Morales expressed respect and admiration for the Cuban physicians working in Bolivia and pointed out that for the the first time his people are receiving quality assistance.

Morales, at Friday s Patakamaya, La Paz, inauguration of the 22nd hospital constructed with Cuban equipment and personnel, was accompanied by Cuban Foreign Minister Felipe Perez Roque.

The statesman thanked Cuba for its solidarity in providing the medical centers and for the staff at the 11 ophthalmologic clinics that have operated on some 80,000 Bolivians.

The president requested applause for Fidel (Castro), this comrade who works for education and health care for Latin American, with no strings attached, he said.

Bolivia no longer needs the IMF or World Bank, which terms contribute to poverty and lead to violent clashes, he said, since its economy is improving: international reserves grow and it has nearly five percent fiscal surplus, the highest in the past 30 years.

President Morales recalled that this is all owed to the nationalization of fuel and recovery of other natural resources, worthwhile struggles begun by social sectors.

Nicaraguan President Daniel Ortega is to pay an official visit to Iran soon, as the two countries wage a battle against US unilateralism.

The president Hugo Chavez warned that humankind is threatened by poverty and the destruction of the environment, and wondered why the rich do not understand the need for a poverty-free world.

He noted that “only that way we will have a world of justice and peace” and denounced those who think that violence can be fought with bombs and invasions.

This is crazy, violence generates violence and Iraq is the best example, Chavez stressed. Latin America News Agency.

Chavez encourages allies to support Iran.

Posted by QB on May 11, 2007

Hugo Chavez is encouraging his Latin American government to have close economic relations with Iran which is offering trade concessions and financial incentives. Iran is winning support in the region with Nicaragua, Ecuador, Bolivia with Venezuela developing very close relationship with Iran.

“The struggle for justice and truth in the framework of economic development is the principle objective of the government in Nicaragua and of our friends in Iran,” said Mr. Ortega when Mr. Mottaki arrived after stopping in Venezuela for talks with Mr. Chavez.

Mr. Ortega called Iran a “victim” of the U.S., which he accused of “supporting terrorism.”

Speaking in the rural Bolivian community of San Julian on the same day, Mr. Morales told peasant supporters to grow soybeans to export to Iran.

“In the last meeting I had with the ambassador of Iran, he told me that his country will buy all the production that we generate,” Mr. Morales said in announcing the imminent arrival of an Iranian trade delegation.

Bolivian officials say that they need new markets for agricultural products, which may lose U.S. tariff preferences over Mr. Morales’ refusal to sign a free-trade agreement with Washington and eradicate coca plantations that supply international cocaine traffickers.

Officials also credit Iran with offering much needed aid and investment.

With Mr. Morales sitting next to him on his Sunday TV talk show, “Alo Presidente,” Mr. Chavez called on Iran to “analyze ways” of incorporating Bolivia and other members of his Bolivarian Alternative for the Americas (ALBA) into existing economic agreements with Venezuela.

ALBA is a socialist common-market initiative originally formed between Venezuela and Cuba, which has recently incorporated Bolivia and Nicaragua.

This new alliance building up in Latin America is the result of Bush regime failed foreign policies with all their energies focused on invasion and occupation and imposing sanctions on Iran. There are also reports that Hugo Chavez is interested in building nuclear power plant in Venezuela with Iran co-operation. Hugo Chavez has proved again that he is better leader than Bush who has peaceful goals with providing economic and social benefits for the common people. This is the right way to go for the world peace.

Hugo Chavez – Constitution ammendments.

Posted by QB on May 9, 2007

Hugo Chavez constitution reforms referendum will held in early 2008. The Presidential Committee is still drafting possible reforms which may included to end term limit for President.

Chavez told reporters “there’s not much hurry” for the reforms, and stressed they were not being carried out “in secret,” the newspaper said. He didn’t say if he’d meanwhile seek to extend his presidential decree powers, granted by legislators in January for a period of 18 months, the newspaper said.

These Presidential term limits are inspired by US term limit and personally I don’t like the term limits. There should be no term limits for President because only the brightest and intelligent will get elected more than two limits ofcourse with popular public support. It was really painful to see Bill Clinton to leave the office because of term limit clause included into US Constitution. Putin who is very still very popular can’t because Russia too have included the clause that President cannot hold office more then two consecutive terms.

Term limit is not very democratic.

Hugo Chavez – An example of Strong and Effective Leadership.

Posted by QB on May 8, 2007

Hugo Chavez diplomacy is winning Venezuela new business economic and friendly relations all over the world. My attention is diverted after Hugo Chavez win December re-election and with Ortega and Correa winning in Nicaragua and Ecuador. The following news brings smile on my face.

CARACAS, Venezuela: Venezuelan President Hugo Chavez on Monday said the U.S. is losing ground internationally as his government cemented ties with African ally Gambia by signing a series of cooperation accords.

“Little by little, the U.S. empire has been losing positions,” Chavez said at a signing ceremony. “The governments that are most committed to the empire are weakening more every day. It isn’t good business to be an ally of the United States.”

Under the accords, Venezuela pledged cooperation in areas from health care to energy with the tiny West African country.

Chavez, whose government is boosted by booming oil revenues, has sought to build closer ties with many African countries, just as he has distanced himself from the United States.

“We want to create a bridge that’s going to liberate the South,” Gambian President Yahya Jammeh said at the signing ceremony after closed-door talks with Chavez.

Hugo Chavez is right. US is losing ground. Hugo Chavez strong bloc is very encouraging sign for the world to stop US aggression. Hugo Chavez has also banned DEA officials calling them the cartel and spy.

Iraq.

Posted by QB on April 23, 2007

Iraq is still the hottest issue in US politics and after reading Jack’s comments decided to add this post after very long absence. I personally opposed the invasion of Afghanistan as well as Iraq because according to my analysis it would be mistake to invade these countries in the name of fighting “war on terror”. There were diplomatic solutions even in Afghanistan where all these killings and destruction could have be avoided. Talibans asked Bush regime to show them Osama Bin Laden involvement in 9/11 attack and they will hand over Osama Bin Laden to international criminal court. But we all know that Bush was flying high on polls arrogantly rejected this reasonable offer with stupid reasoning that the proof is the matter of “national security”. How could proof of some crime can be matter of “national security”? I really did not understand this at that time and still trying to figure out why Bush regime insists of keeping hundreds of people without charging them with any crime or showing the evidence of their involvement. Had Bush regime not turned down Taliban reasonable offer the world would have been better place and the “war on terror” could really have made progress because Osama Bin Laden would have lost all sympathies and support which he is getting by US invasion of Afghanistan. Bush as we all know really have much knowledge about culture, history of Afghanistan and Iraq did not know that Afghans has the history of fighting foreign occupation for decades and that’s exactly what they are doing now.

Iraq invasion was the biggest mistake after Afghanistan which turned the majority of the common Muslims against US. Bush regime invaded Iraq with lies and news network media with Ted Turner telling Wolf Blitzer that CNN has sold this war on prime time. The same news Anchors who were pushing for Iraq invasion has now turned against this war including Wolf Blitzer, Lou Dobbs, Paula Zahn.

Bush regime is good when it comes to slogans and sound bites are now using “They will follow us if we leave Iraq”. This is the most absurd reason because the truth is that Iraqis never attacked US never had the capability to attack US in the past or they will have the capability to attack US in future.

Iraq now politicised with both Democrats and Republicans are using to rally support for the next election. Bush promised to keep fighting this lost war as long as he is in White House. There are only few Democrats who had the courage to oppose this unnecessary bloody war since begining and I have lots of respect for them. Dennis Kucinich, Sen. Kennedy are the most prominent opponent of Iraq war and they know that there will be no victory what Bush hopes with escalation of troops. Michael Ware reporting from Baghdad the other day told Wolf Blitzer that Generals thinkg that there is no military solution of Iraq and Gen. Petraeus don’t know whether the escalation of troops will bring the desired stability until late summer.

The majority of people are worried about the deaths of their troops, don’t they know that when they go to war they will get killed and injured. Lou Dobbs is now worried about the rising casualties rate in Iraq should have read my blog where I predicted exactly this with the troops escalation.

There is unfortunately no solution which can bring stability and peace in Iraq. Bush is never tired of praising the new puppet Iraqi government which to him is the greatest victory, to me is another failure of Iraq invasion which has given power to sectarian religious groups by toppling down Iraq secular government.

Hugo Chavez Re-elected.

Posted by QB on December 4, 2006

There is no surprise that Hugo Chavez is re-elected for the next term with 61.35 of the vote as reported by Radio Nacional de Venezuela. The US supported candidate Rosales was not match to Hugo Chavez popularity and the support of the poor people of Venezuela which get him re-elected. The people who had posted comments on my Hugo Chavez I believe were all supporting Rosales and the people living in US really did not carefully analyze the election campaign. Rosales really don’t had a clear plan for Venezuela what he promised that he will not change Hugo Chavez social policies. Why would Venezuelans elect Rosales as their leader when he agree with Hugo Chavez social policies.

The Western Media will keep criticising Hugo Chavez without acknowledging the good he is doing for the poor people of Venezuela and keep calling him the dictator after winning another election with convincing majority. Hugo Chavez one big achievement is providing the free health care for all Venezuelans and when compared with US health system where more than 50 million poor people have no health insurance which means no health care. Hugo Chavez other achievement is better peaceful relationships with the neighboring countries and the world which clearly make him more successful leader and diplomat than George W. Bush. The average person can tell that Hugo Chavez is very intelligent politician and George W. Bush is complete idiot who only knows the dirty politics of lies and deceptions and who really has no idea with diplomacy means when it comes to international relations.

The truth is people of the World really don’t know much about Venezuela including me and it is Hugo Chavez who has make Venezuela the key player in the region as well as in the world with very intelligently developing diplomatic and economic relations with China Russia Middle East and Latin America.

Hugo Chavez must now thank the poor people of Venezuela and start implementing his social policies. Start with improving the law and order situation in Caracas. Start government housing project for the poor and provide them cheap housing. There was one more problem which was pointed out by one who is living in Venezuela that the electricity supply is interrupted frequently. Venezuela government now has the huge budget surplus and Nuclear Electric power plant is the answer to solve the electricity problem. The poor people of Venezuela will keep re-electing Hugo Chavez if he keep working to improve their lives without paying attention to Western Media propaganda.

Hugo Chavez – Time to act.

Posted by QB on November 30, 2006

It is Hugo Chavez which had started this revolution in Latin America and he is very successful in developing close diplomatic and economic ties within the region. Look at the Latin American government now. Argentina, Chile, Brazil, Cuba, Bolivia, Nicaragua and the latest very unexpected victory of Correa is the clear evidence of Latin Americans are so fed-up with the corrupt politicians that they are going for common socialists rulers.

This is also evidence of how fed-up the world is with US oppressive policies of control with attractive slogans like “free trade” fighting war on “drugs” and “terror” with establishing their military bases which actually are for the protection of their financial interests.

Che Guevara dream of making Cuba to Argentina united is becoming reality. US thought that they have secured their interests by killing Che Guevara 40 years back in Bolivia has not done anything good with Evo Morales a socialists holding on to power.

Hugo Chavez have to take very tough steps towards making Caracas safe place to live by dealing with criminals with iron fist and implement his social reforms immediately after winning December 3 election. The security situation in Caracas is very bad as now I know because two guys who are living there have pointed this out for me.

The other important thing is that Hugo Chavez can’t get re-election on attractive slogans without really improving the conditions of poor people. Hugo Chavez is disconnected from the people if he really don’t know what are their grievances.

I really don’t know why Hugo Chavez did not do anything to provide cheap housing for the poor people. There is no shortage of money as the government has huge surplus and spending couple of billion dollars can provide the housing for the poor. These people really are not expecting palaces all they need is the shelter with running water electricity and a roof over their family. The government can build the same architect quarters which will give him another term in the next election.

“Let us not lose a single moment to oil the machinery. Let everybody take action! Let everybody go the polls and guard the victory just in case! Watch out! Be alert!” said President Hugo Chavez Wednesday in a rally where he closed his campaign for re-election in southwestern Trujillo state.

In his speech, as broadcast by state-run TV channel VTV, he added: “In the event that imperialists and lackeys make any attempt at destabilizing Venezuela, they will regret it for the rest of their lives, I am warning you!”

“Watch out! We are facing the devil of the US empire and all of its power rather than foolish candidates that cannot even talk.”

He forecast that next December 3rd he would obtain “the biggest victory ever in the political history” of the world.

Source : el universe.com

Hugo Chavez you will beat the devil on December 3 but you have to do immediately start the action because these poor people will not keep electing you if you don’t keep your promises and do practically what you promised as quickly as possible. Hugo Chavez I am sure must be aware of Dr. Mahathir of Malaysia who keep getting re-elected for 22 years because he had made Malaysia from the third world country to nineteenth developed nation of the world in two decades. His success was simply due to his policies which brought prosperity and stability for the people and they keep electing him. Dr. Mahathir did not had any magic wand all he did is work honestly for the benefit and betterment of his country. Hugo Chavez must learn this if he want to get re-election again and again, work for the betterment of the people and they will keep you in office as long as you want.

Hugo Chavez will be Re-elected.

Posted by QB on November 27, 2006

Hugo Chavez will easily win the re-election next Sunday with overwhelming majority as suggested by all polls. Hugo Chavez is dedicating his re-election victory to Cuba’s Fidel Castro and the 50th Revolution Anniversary. Hugo Chavez strong leadership has helped the Latin America to take control of their governments by electing socialists reformers. The Latin America now will have more economic social diplomatic co-operation between Cuba, Boliva, Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Nicaragua and now with Ecuador as the news is that Correa is winning the Presidential election with partial vote counting.

The only positive news these days are coming from Latin America where people are rejecting the corrupt politicians who were the slaves of White House protecting their big corporations interests instead of working for the interests of the common poor people.

Hugo Chavez after winning has to implement the social reforms immediately if he wants to win the next election. The Caracas has serious housing problem and I don’t understand why this is such a so big problem which is the main cause of all the grievances of the poor. The housing project must get the top priority to provide proper shelter to these poor people who are living in temporary housing. The next top project should be to encourage business which will provide jobs for the people. Hugo Chavez has very little time after this re-election victory to start working on the these projects which will guarantee him to win the next election as well. The people really will not interested in changing the government if they are living comfortably in peace and security. Hugo Chavez will defeat “devil” Bush on December 3.

Chávez closes campaign in Caracas

This is my analysis based on various reports and really don’t know the actual situation in Venezuela.

Ecuador Election Tomorrow.

Posted by QB on November 25, 2006

The second round of Presidential elections are scheduled for Nov. 26 between leftist socialist reformer Correa and Noboa. According to latest poll Correa is for the first time is ahead of Noboa with 52 to 48 percent. US interests are tied with Noboa and if these latest numbers hold than it is clear Correa will be the winner who promised not to renew US military base if get elected. Correa also joked that he will renew US military base lease if Ecuador get its military base in Florida.

This race was very interesting from the beginning of the second round with Noboa holding clear lead over Correa for giving money and other gifts to poor voters. Ecuadorians poor commons are I believe are smart who can see the hypocrisy of this billionaire who had exploited the poor laborers without showing any mercy. Noboa who had inherited his money from his father never before had done anything good to improve the lives of poor people which he could have done easily without holding power with his money and now he is promising poor people to bring down the moon and stars for them if they vote for him. Noboa did nothing for poor people his whole life and now he wanted their votes so he can grab the power and protect his and his own class people wealth and interests.

Correa on the other hand is a fresh uncorrupted common person who understand the problems of the common poor people of his country. The Ecuadorians must give Correa a chance by rejecting the corrupt billionaire and elite ruling class which will lead the country into new direction.

There is plenty of propaganda going on against socialists in Latin America by the US and its European allies as something bad where the fact is it is good to have close business economic military relations with neighboring countries which will bring stability and economic growth which is always good for the people.

Hugo Chavez will be re-elected easily as he is way ahead of his opponent Rosales and this will help to build a strong alliance between Bolivia, Cuba, Nicaragua, Chile, Argentina, Brazil to adopt and implement independent policies which are good for the people of these countries and the region instead of being the puppet of Bush regime.

The World Today.

Posted by QB on November 22, 2006

The world today is not better than yesterday all the news are depressing disgusting politics for power and controlling natural resources of the world. The situation in Middle East is getting worst. Iran Syria and Iraq will have a summit in Tehran this weekend to discuss the situation and find solution for stabilization. Christian politician is killed in Lebanon where situation could become ugly if some Christian politician decided to take advantage of it by exploiting it attack against their religion, if this happen than Lebanon will see another civil war between Muslims and Christians.

US still have the problem to accept Nicaragua elections results because Bush regime propaganda against Ortega is going with full speed. Ecuador elections are four days away and there too Bush regime want their puppet billionaire get elected against the evil socialist candidate.

I really don’t feel like writing much these days kind of just disconnected with everything as there is no positive improvement on any front politics war economy.

Hugo Chavez – Election Update.

Posted by QB on November 21, 2006

Hugo Chavez is ahead of his opponent Manuel Rosales by 20 points in all recently conducted polls which to me is not a big surprise. The big surprise is that opposition candidate Rosales start his propaganda of rigging even before the polls open and this is what Hugo Chavez had pointed out in many speeches and statements that’s what opposition will do after loosing elections. The opposition will start crying fraud and try to destabilize Venezuela after Hugo Chavez convincing victory instead of accepting the fact that he is popular because of his social welfare policies which benefit majority of poor Venezuelans. Rosales is running against Hugo Chavez to protect rich and connected promising not to discontinue Hugo Chavez social welfare policies. This does not make any sense how Rosales will be different from Hugo Chavez if he is promising to stick to these policies. Rosales if get elected will implement the policies to protect the US interests in the region because they are not very comfortable with the growing socialists governments with very close diplomatic economic and military relations.

The following news story is the evidence of US intervention in domestic affairs of Latin American countries. Bush regime consider all the world leaders as his enemy who criticise his stupid policies of aggressions. Bush regime is not interested in protecting the majority of poor people their interests are to keep control of the natural resources of the region by using the divide and rule policy. Hugo Chavez is dangerous because he is uniting Latin America which of-course is not very much appreciated by Bush regime.

U.S. to turn on the charm in Latin America.

Chavez foe warns of possible Venezuelan vote fraud.

I believe Venezuela voters are smart enough to vote intelligently rejecting US backed Rosales for their own good and for the better future for Latin Americans who are living under US oppressive policies from decades.

Testing Chavez: Great White Hopes in Venezuela.

Posted by QB on November 17, 2006

This is interesting article which describes the current political struggle between Hugo Chavez and Bush regime. The US government is playing all its dirty political games to bring down Hugo Chavez from power.

Testing Chavez: Great White Hopes in Venezuela.

Venezuela s Fifth Republic Movement (MVR) urged on Thursday that the opposition recognize results of the December elections, with polls pointing to a clear victory of President Hugo Chavez.

In statements to “En Confianza” TV program, MVR leader William Lara called for the president s adversaries to assume a democratic stance and warned that by ignoring the final result of the presidential elections and adopting a destabilizing attitude, the opposition would be “committing suicide.”

Regarding that, he said that Manuel Rosales, Chavez main rival, has the decision in his hands, and would politically kill himself if he were to follow the behaviour of frustrated sectors.

If, on the contrary, he accepts the outcome and declares to be in favour of contributing to the country s future, “the opposition would have a real leader.”
